Top food! very interesting selection of menu items, the early nibble pfannkuchen with black bauch was excellent! always love a place that also makes a delicious Batu coffee.

Absolutely delicious food and some of the best coffee in Hobart. I really recommend the spring onion pancake. Standout dish.

I can see why this place appears on “best breakfast” and “best cafe” lists in Hobart. I came with friends for breakfast for a weekend in Hobart and the food was fantastic I had the avocado toast with hummus, soft boiled egg and za’ataar, chai and then a hot chocolate. Friends had mushrooms on toast, croquettes and other delicious looking food. I definitely want to come back on my next Hobart trip so I can more on the menu!

I visited this café in the morning and ordered a mediterranean breakfast, which was vegetarian and therefore perfectly suitable for me. It included an orange juice, shakshuka, bread, hummus, yoghurt, feta and some veggies for sure. I liked the taste of everything! Only the bread was a bit greasy. Staff was very friendly! In all conscience I can recommend this place for breakfast.

The food is lovely here. On various occasions, I have tried the stick pork salad, the potato croquettes and arancini. Last time we had the cheese toastie also. It's a pleasant environment with friendly staff. However, the wine is expensive at $15 a glass or a small bottle of prosecco.
