Mako Seafood & Takeaway - Hobart

Liked the location and atmosphere bu the fish (grilled blue-eye) was overcooked and bland while the chips were less than average.

We are not oyster lovers but having been told that oysters in Tasmania are scrumptious, we decided to give it a try. We randomly came to this restaurant on the first day of our arrival and we immediately felt in love with their oysters! They are fresh, delicious, and it's such a bargain! $22 for a dozen! After trying a few other restaurants, we decided to come back everyday. The person who served us was different everyday but they were all nice and friendly. Highly recommend if you love oysters! Oh, their chips are finger licking good too if you add the garlic powder in as well.

Waited in line, watched him dilly dallying around not even looking up at customers. They belong here, at the end of the pier with a 45 degree walkway covered in flu germed ballastrades. Yummo?

Very nice takeaway fish and chips. Also got some oysters, which were delicious. Worth navigating the dodgy-looking ramp!

We had a few fish and seafood baskets. Everybody loved the food and a nice view of the yachts and boats. Very nice and fresh.
