Mazbah Cafe - Hobart

We have been regulars at Mazbah for years and have always enjoyed our dining experience in the past. However, with new management in place, our recent visit left us disappointed. The coffee was mediocre and the staff were overly persistent in taking our orders, which became irritating. Despite explaining that we were waiting for other family members and would order together, we were asked multiple times within a short period. The food was decent and served quickly, possibly due to the lack of customers. As we finished our meal around 2 pm, we were surprised to see the staff stacking chairs around us, indicating they were preparing to close despite other diners still eating. This behavior was unacceptable and we have experienced better service in restaurants around the world. We will not be returning to Mazbah and recommend exploring other dining options in Hobart.

Sadly, the high quality food no longer exists that I had enjoyed for so long. The menu options has also changed but not for the better. Never fix something that's not broken.

Coffee not the best, was weak milk tasted off. Is the coffee really Zimmer's or is the label just stuck onto the counter for show?, comfy seating and spacious cafe

Mazbah used to be such an awesome place to lunch. This is no longer the case. We had to wait so long for our order to be taken and then an even longer wait for premade jaffles that we had to request takeaway as we had to get back to work. The jaffle was soggy and inedible and the price was exorbitant. Dont waste your time or money on this place.
