Feedback gevenIn Hobart for the weekend thought I would try somewhere I had not eaten before. Saturday night midwinter is cold and while there were others in the place was not crowded and the service was great, friendly and informed. The food was all great quality and came quickly and there was a good range of beers and wine to accompany your choice of meals.Would I go back - yes.
After a very mediocre meal a while ago, we went back for another try! They have a new chef the food was great! Its a quirky place with a great feel. Will definitely make this a new favorite!
Fortunately we weren't starving when we went for dinner. The main size is pretty small. The warm green salad was really nice (a bit different with a mild green curry dressing). The beef brisket main was just plain bad. I was expecting the meat to be slow cooked, but it had been pan fried. Note to chef ... You can't pan fry brisket. It ends up tough and inedible. The waiter did comment on the left over tough meat and did offer to give us one beer on the house. Credit to him for noticing and offering.
Love the vibe here. Casual but efficient. It seems all different types of people and ages visit to experience the great service and delicious food. Staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable about what the are serving.
Was a perfect spot to stop to get a drink on your way to or from the city. The owners dog, Kora, was amazing! if you miss your puppies stop in here!
