I had the worst in a restaurant in hoboken. overall bad experience. will not go back.
Eating was good and live music at the bar was great! funny crowd.
I visited Jack Co due to the Hudson Restaurant Week promotion they were offering 1 appetizer, 1 entree, and 1 small dessert for $35/person. While the food was indeed tasty, the promotion was a scam. Opting for this deal instead of choosing items a la carte wound up saving us at most $1 3. The promotion was just a ploy to get you to the restaurant which was merely more than a bar. The overall experience was not that bad, but definitely not worth going back for more than drinks.
Went here for a NYE's early dinner around 7pm. It was good to have a reservation this particular night as it seemed to get pretty packed. We were seated promptly, though the high top tables we were escorted to didn't provide the most comfortable seating options. The chair itself is a little hard to sit on and with barely a back on it, you're almost sitting on just a stool. My wife ordered the Gnocchi and I ordered the Jalepeno Ribs. She commented that the Gnocchi was well executed but a bit salty and my ribs were tasty, with a good BBQ Sauce. Overall, not a bad experience but nothing to write home about either. We'll give it another shot on a less popular night. We enjoy this restaurant's sister place, Jack's Cabin, in the Southwest part of Hoboken so it's worth another look.
