Mcswiggan's - Hoboken

Nice pub with tons of TVs for watching any sort of sport. Went for football Sunday and all of the 1pm games were on at the same time so it was great to be able to see all of the action. However, it must be the only game in town because they really jack up the prices. A simple bud light bottle is 7$, had a few and my bill was already 50$

Ordering was simple with the table’s QR code, which provided access to the full menu. We ordered two rounds of beers, priced at $6.00 and $9.00, respectively, and our drinks arrived within minutes each time. The interior had the classic pub/sports bar feel, featuring tables, a bar, a pool table, and plenty of TVs showing various sports events. The crowd was relatively young, giving it a nice local neighborhood vibe. I would consider returning to McSwiggan's Pub, especially to explore their food menu. However, I was a bit disappointed with the standard draft beer selection and would have liked to see more representation of local beers, whether on draft or in bottles/cans. Nonetheless, my experience as a first-time visitor was enjoyable enough to make me want to come back.

I stopped by for a beer during happy hour. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the staff seemed a bit unfocused for some reason. The beer was enjoyable, and while the food was just average and could use some improvement, I think there’s potential. I would visit again and would recommend this place. Food rating: 3/5.

They have great cocktail options as well. The mango margarita was excellent. Additionally, there's a snooker table available too.
