The Ferryman On 1st Hoboken

I have loved this place for a very long time but we were turned away at 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening trying to take my daughter out with us for dinner. This was a first. The person we interacted with claimed that my daughter couldn't eat dinner with us (we weren't drinking) because she wasn't 21. We turned around and went to the Pub across the street where we were served and eat our dinner, without issue. Unless some major law has changed we weren't aware of, this made absolutely no sense. Would be curious to hear from the management if there's some law/rules that we are not aware of. Very disappointing.

Tried the brunch menu yesterday and it was quite good. Have to comeback for their regular menu soonFood: 4/5

This place is one of my favorite bars in Hoboken for many reasons!! I had a surprise open bar for my boyfriend’s graduation from law school and they were so accommodating. Everyone had an amazing time and couldn’t stop raving about it. The music is always great and everyone who works there is so nice. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I recently attended a graduation party here and we had the most amazing time! The bartenders, managers, everyone who works there were helpful and made sure they did everything they can to ensure we had a great experience. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
