The Madison And Grill - Hoboken

Service was excellent and our server Emily was very attentive and made sure we was happy with everything. I could not ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend The Madison Bar and Grill.

Our dining experience at The Madison quickly turned sour due to the disappointing service we encountered, particularly from the unprofessional hostess. Despite having a confirmed reservation for six people, we were initially seated at a table only suitable for four. When requesting additional chairs, our needs were disregarded, and we were informed of a potential table change in 15 minutes. However, instead of honoring our reservation, we were abruptly asked to relocate to a crowded and noisy bar area, completely disrupting our evening plans. We were informed that the reason for the relocation was to accommodate another reservation in an hour, despite the fact that we were there first and had our own reservation. The disregard for our reservation and the rudeness of the staff made our experience overall horrible resulting in us leaving and ruining our Saturday, causing us to scramble to find a place to seat 6 people on a busy Saturday night.

Food drinks were great, but waitress didn’t write down our order my dinner came out incorrect. The rest of the party began eating I had to wait for mine. She also didn’t refill our water pitcher. Not the end of the world, but kinda annoying. Maybe offer a free drink while a wait? My husband said the pork sandwich was the best one he’s ever had!

We had lunch at The Madison on a Wednesday afternoon at 2:00. Not busy at all. Great place as we had a six week old baby with us. Waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Changing table for infants in bathrooms. Good food and drink. Clean.
