Tall Boys Tavern - Hobson

Wow! What an amazing surprise! While traveling in our RV, we decided to take a break and have lunch, and we were blown away by the variety and quality of food available! You have to stop here; you won't regret it! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the bartender is very friendly! If you're a fan of curry, you absolutely must try their homemade curry sauce—I even bought a bottle to take home! We also had a prime rib BLT, and it was incredibly delicious!

It was my first visit, and what a delightful find this restaurant is, nestled in a small town!

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of Montana microbrews. Elizabeth is a fantastic bartender, and the sandwiches and salads are really good.

This was a hidden gem of a pub/restaurant that we stumbled across on our road trip, tucked away in Hobson MT. Super non descript from the outside but so full of character inside it was used as a set for the older Clint Eastwood/Jeff Bridges movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot movie. The menu was amazing, totally unexpected, considering it was a local pub in a small community. Two of my fellow travelers had the Chicken Apple Brie sandwich while another had the Tavern Beef and lastly I had the Prime Rib BLT. Each sandwich was packed full and the sides of fries and salads we had rounded off this incredible lunch. Sadly, we were too stuffed to try any dessert but I guess this just means we'll have to go back on our travels! If you're in the area and got the hangries, be sure to stop in here you will be so happy you did!
