The Cottage Bakery - Hockley

I stopped in for a quick drink but ended up staying for a few more because of the fantastic atmosphere. The staff was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive drink selection.

This is a fantastic spot for groups. It can get a bit chaotic during birthday celebrations, but the live band is excellent!

Since I lived in Hockley and have experienced some changes in the last 40 years. I can honestly say that The Spa, under current management and personaling, is the best ever. Fergus and his team lead a tight ship with good, plentiful beer, wines and spirits. The layout is perfect for a night, business beer, couples or family or any combination. The bar staff is kindly guided by his example. Always chatting, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Sports cover when on is ably covered with TV show various channels in different areas. COVID rules and guidelines, if applicable, are strictly enforced with rules and regulations that are enforced in a friendly but soothing way. Great pub, great drink, great staff and regular. What is not to like! God bless the spa. Keep the flag up Fergus!
