Hacho Stube - Hoechenschwand

We have spontaneously arrived as a frozen hiking group. Although the hall was prepared for a closed company and the celebration company was already on the rise, we were not sent away, but served delicious cakes and coffee at a table near the bar. Thank you.

Friday, 28.12.2018: 12.30h table in advance reserved restaurant 50% occupied (about 10 tables). This restaurant was chosen by us because we wanted to eat a little bit. The reservation worked, the beverage service was promt.... then 1 hour waiting time for 2 salad plates, 2x sausage with sauerkraut and 2x Schnitzel Pommes. The so-called colourful salad plate with turkey stripes depuffed as a green,welk heap with carrots and corn directly from the can, no salad dressing far and wide no salt and pepper. The Schnitzel fads with a rather salted panade, the plates were very sweetly dressed (as in a bad canteen) the ambience fade and the serving lady very stressed (for which we had understanding). There was obviously the worm in there, because other guests complained... Höchenschwand is known for its locals with delicious food and friendly service. Not this time in the Hacho Stube. Shame!

It took a long time to place the order. Then the food was good, plentiful and corresponded to our expectations. The waitress was friendly, the premises clean, large selection of menus. At the main meal there were only four couples present, one somehow came almost lost before the premises can be divided for smaller and larger groups. We will definitely go back.

Eating was super tasty and very rich, cozy outside terrace, were 4x times in 7 days eating there that should be reason enough to praise. I recommend that Cordon bleu, WELTKLASSE!!!, I have eaten every time. My wife, of course, always ate something else, but everything is always very delicious.

Were there for a drink on 10.7.2018. When we paid the bill, the lady behind the counter took the money and went away without giving us the rest. She was on the phone and pretended everything was fine. Only after repeated shouting, she came and asked what we want. We felt like the lady wasn't with the thing. The conversation she had led, we could follow. She often stressed that she was in stress because so much is going on. Funny, there were only 8 people present with us.Then three guests from Switzerland complained because the bill would not vote. If there's a lot going on in this place, I don't want to know what's going on. She gave us the rest money. But we felt like she couldn't count or the lady needs glasses. There's no such operation.
