Bäckerei Burkard Café - Hoechstadt

I was there yesterday afternoon because I wanted half a loaf of bread and some pastries. I served, or rather annoyed, a nasty customer with an older saleswoman. I really felt unwanted, she was so annoyed. I ordered half my bread when a young salesman grumbled: she meant quarter. The young salesman had a customer himself and was whispering at a level that even the Edeka customers at the butcher should have heard. I then said to the lady that I would like to have half my bread but apparently she wasn't interested. The half then became 2 quarter loaves. When I asked her to put one of them in a plastic bag so I could at least freeze it, she threw a bunch of plastic bags onto the counter. Meanwhile, the younger salesman kept scratching his face and nose while handling the food without gloves. Terrible to have people like that in sales.

Bought a lye stick. 0.85 cents, only had a 10 euro note. There was a young man and an older woman behind the counter. When I handed over the 10 euro note, the young gentleman just said: 85 cents and then a 10! I asked if that was bad and the answer was Yes! Ok, I didn 't know that I need a minimum amount to pay with a 10 euro note. Or should I not shop there at all if it doesn 't fit? Can someone enlighten me? In any case, the two gentlemen behind the counter were no longer interested in talking to me, because they then simply talked to each other. Even a farewell would apparently have been asking too much. But of course, I was so bold as to pay with a 10. Then rather nothing at all, I definitely won 't buy there anymore.

I also like to go here when we are with our children and grandchildren. I think the offer is really great. Bread and rolls are delicious so I buy them for home too. Variety is nice. As far as the staff are concerned, I always receive friendly service here. Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast
