Melkebar Restaurant - Hoenefoss

Ok place to eat lunch. Had the bacon and cheese burger. Not very innovative in taste and garnish. The fries where sloppy and a bit pale. Tried a couple of the other dishes as well and they all tasted ok but not great. Nice atmosphere and interior. Friendly staff.

It was a bad experience for me to eat in this restaurant. the waiter ignored my existence only too long when I am the only hospitable seat in the restaurant. the pasta was very inconspicuous. the sauce was so mediocre as if it was found by the power sauce in the food business. the broth was served sponge, greasy, tasteless and not even with a dip or butter. in the meantime, no more personal came and asked me how it was like everything was in order. it is hard for me to understand why this restaurant is still in the local business.

We were two couples who visited ende september 2021. the place is beautifully decorated, offers burger, pasta and some meat dishes, desert and similar. I would say a pretty good choice. the food was good, sufficiently large. what was demolished was an unconsistent service. the workers did not seem to be sure how to assume that they did not coordinate, so we got the same question 3 times, but if we needed them, they should not be found. we had 20 minutes after eating where we didn't see anyone. we have saved so much money, but I would have rather gloomy and a drink, at least this is probably due to the need to involve new employees after the reopening of C-19. I want to come back and check them later.

The food was good. normal pommesservice was decent. we sat outside and the tables were dirty and a wrong order.
