A lovely manor house set on a hill in landscaped grounds. The bed was super comfortable and the room was charming but there were maintenance issues with the antique furniture making it a quirky experience. The menu looked good and I think the chef is good at cooking meals but should maybe focus on those and buy in the bread and croissants rather than trying to house make everything. My husband and I just spent our wedding weekend staying and eating at The Manor on Golden Pond and had the most wonderful weekend! We stayed in The Oxford, which was recently remodeled/updated, and proved to be 5 stars in our book. The food was also absolutely delicious. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay in the near future! Thank you for taking good care of us. New owner doing some remodeling but keeping the old fashion charm in place. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains.
