Roberts Smokin Bbq 2 - Holiday

Robert and his family have once again amazed us with their second restaurant location. This holiday spot was the cherry on top. It only takes me 5 minutes to drive to the best barbecue spot I have ever visited. The cozy and unassuming restaurant serves incredible slow-smoked meats. The brisket is absolutely delicious and worth every bite!

I ordered the slab dinner with mac and collard greens, while my boyfriend ordered the pulled pork dinner with mac and baked beans. The ribs were juicy but lacked flavor, possibly due to the quality of the meat or the lack of seasoning. The mac and cheese was dry, but the collard greens were tasty. The baked beans tasted like they came from a can, but were still decent. The seating was difficult, as the inside area smelled sour and the tables outside were not cleaned regularly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the overall experience and don't think it's worth the $40 we paid. Additionally, we missed out on specials on Wednesdays because the sign was small and hard to see.

I regret wasting my time at this so-called BBQ restaurant. I ordered through DoorDash and my order was incorrect and the food was cold. Even though I was staying at a hotel less than 5 minutes away, they didn't provide me with any utensils, not even a spoon. As an OTR truck driver, this kind of service is disappointing.

Chicken was so dry, The sandwiches were soggy, and I mean mush. The mac cheese and baked beans were absolutely flavorless and disgusting. The sauce that was on our sandwiches tasted like just straight mustard. And no matter what I do I can?t get thattaste of that smoke flavor taste out of my mouth, just god awful ?If I could give this a no star I would and I?ve been to thisplace before?.. what happened? Very disappointed

This hands down was the best BBQ we have had in a while. From the time I walked in the door it felt like going to a family members house for a BBQ get together. Super friendly, amazing service and the food..... the FOOD!!!! We got a 3 meat familydinner and a smoked mullet meal. We chose the pulled pork, brisket, and ribs with the family meal with Mac n chs, baked beans,and potato salad. We literally ate ourselves sick last night it was that good. Had plenty of leftovers we are enjoying now andit's still just as good. If you've eaten there and disagree, you don't know proper southern BBQ. Next time we come that way itis a definite we will be back! Also, they had the sweetest little helper that shared her gumballs and a good little chat while Iwaited. Great experience all the way around!!!
