Oh Mai - Holladay

Keep an eye out on mobile ordering where they sneak an extra 20% for a tip and another fee for ordering online. Ended up paying 1.5x for a sandwich that I picked up. All for tips if I’m waited on, but adding a tip and hiding it at the bottom is so sketchy. When I tried to ask them to remove it or credit it back, the man just shrugged and said he didn’t know how. I know it’s not his fault, so I just left. But I’m really disappointed.

We had a pho and a vermicelli noodle dish. Both were pretty bad. The pho tasted like a simple chicken broth and the tofu was cold in the broth. The vermicelli did not look like an appetizing dish at all. It had a few pieces of tofu seasoned but the rest was bland. Half of the vegetables were cooked to mushy, the rest were raw. All this for $40. This place used to be good but not any more. Will not come again, do not recommend.

Love Oh Mai! I've only ever gotten their banh mi (garlic ribeye, brisket, the sinner) and have never had a bad one. My favorite is the garlic ribeye.

Food is amazing. But they just keep raising their prices. This location doesn't rven have the same prices as other Oh Mai restaurants in salt lake! Use to get the P5 for $12. Then $15, now suddenly it is $20. While other locations still have the same dish at $15. Not everyone in Cottonwood Heights is rich you know! Edit 2024: Still 1 star. Prices have gone up even more while portion sizes have gotten smaller! This place is probably the best realtime example of hyper inflation at work. Service sucks. They don't care one bit about their customers. They don't seem to care that they can no longer pack the restaurant. They just keep raising prices to compensate for their lack of business without realizing that raising their prices is the main source of their loss of business. It is truly baffling and slightly humorous to watch just how badly they are running this place, but also sad becuase it use to be soo much better than it is today.

Yummy great food. Great service. Real family feel. I'll be back!
