Mama Mary's Pizza - Holland

I first visited Mama Mary's restaurant 5 years ago and had a terrible experience. Despite hearing great reviews from others, I decided to give it another try recently. Unfortunately, my second visit was even worse than the first. The "large" pizza I ordered left me unsatisfied as it was basically just a thin bread with pizza sauce and no toppings. I was disappointed as I had hoped for better quality from a local restaurant so close to home. In this day and age, we all deserve to get what we pay for, so I wanted to warn others about my experience.

I recently ordered dinner from this restaurant for delivery. The price per person was in the range of $20–30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. Some of the dishes I would highly recommend are the Boardwalk Pizza, Greek Salad with Black Lettuce, and Cheese Bread.

This restaurant is not really meant for dining in, but we were able to use one of the two tables available since we were out of town. The staff was extremely busy but still very friendly. The pizza was delicious! Overall, I give a rating of 5 for both the food and the service.

Ordered carry out and got their Boardwalk pizza, which is their XL New York style with relatively thin crust, and got double pepperoni. Pepperoni is small diameter and a little thicker than normal, and cooked until curled with some crunch. Good amount of sauce and quite flavorful, as was the crust. I really liked it and was hard to stop after a couple of the very large slices. Will definitely be back to try the other styles and ingredients. Vegetarian options: Have salads, cheese bread, and veggie pizza. Parking: Good size parking lot but it serves several businesses in the strip.
