Shelco Seafood - Hollidaysburg

The best seafood can be found in the sea. I love this place. Everything is amazing. We don't even look at prices and don't worry because we know it's gonna be the best. If snow cancers were free at Martins, we would still choose Shelcos no matter what the prices were. They cook perfectly, come out of the bowl perfectly, and taste amazing. The scallops are also amazing. Forget the frozen in the grocery store (too much water content). The scallops from here Meerr are perfect. We have done shark, tuna, tilapia, grouper, Mahi mahi, swordfish here as well.

Oh, my, where do I start! For some years we have been getting our seafood fantasy INSGESAMTY satisfied at this the best place Shellco. All seafood fresh and frozen you want, there are even delicate steaks and fillets. Plus wonderful seafood salad cocktail sauce delicious soups spices and all in the highest quality I ever had better than from the 5 star restaurants when we travel directly to the docks. The best place to buy seafood in the area. Fresh products and excellent prices with a variety of varieties of fish to choose. Much better quality at better price points than anything from local medium food history. The staff is friendly and helpful. Turn right outside Hollidaysburg from 22 from The Dream. Very recommended.

Today was my second visit to Shelco. After trying frog legs, seafood salad, crab meat and shrimp from our first visit, we were striving to return. Everything was of the highest quality, the staff so very helpful with suggestions for preparation, and the selection so diverse it was difficult to narrow our choices for a seafood festival for two! But we managed to choose Dungeness crab and Jumbo shrimp from the huge tempo selection offered. It didn't disappoint! I have particularly appreciated the preparation suggestion for steaming the shrimps in a basket instead of cooking directly in the spicy liquid, as I had done in the past. The shrimps were so much tenderer prepared. I have become a hard fan and will be a regular customer!

Good seafood. They are helpful and informative if you're trying something new. I buy the colossal shrimp and crab legs for seafood boil. Only bad thing is they hit you with a surcharge for using your credit card.
