Market Place Diner - Hollis

Average generic diner food. Maybe because it's Hollis, but it was a bit pricey for what it was. Good job on the homemade corned beef hash though. Some people really can't figure that one out.

Mediocre ham, egg, and cheese sandwich, ham was dried out and thin, tasted like it came from market basket, home fries were soggy and nondescript, maybe from frozen.

Kid-friendliness: We had An infant with us and the wait staff was very helpful with the baby. It was much appreciated so we could finish our food.

As a visitor, this is exactly the type of diner experience I was hoping for. It's small-ish but has a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere.Our waitress, Erin, was the absolute best! She had great recommendations for us, and we even chatted about her recent visit to TX (where I'm from).The hash is simply delicious. Highly recommend it. I know I'll never be able to recreate the dish, but I'm going to give it a try.

Trying now a variety of dishes we find the staff seems to happily provide every choice we make!!! Ruben for example, can't wait for tomorrow to try out their long lists!!
