The older distinguished gentleman was unfailingly polite and the older lady who was behind the counter at the buffet station reminded me of the perfect grandma like you see on television all smiles and graciously greeting everyone. The place was very cleanly and the food was excellent. My spouse had the buffet and only had good things to say about it. I had a hamburger with fries, the fries were very delicious and I don't believe they were even salted or if they were it was very lightly, which is the way I prefer them. They were wonderfully crispy. The hamburger was a 4oz burger on a plain bun, I had mine with tomatoes and onions. It was honestly the best burger I can ever recall eating...it tasted real. I tried to stop in again today but it appeared like they were closed. I will DEFINITELY be stopping again, tbh if lived there I would eat there every day for lunch.
What a lovely place to eat. I wanted a great breakfast and came across this mom and pop place it was Amazing. Jack cooking and Wanda serving can't beat that. We got 2 chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast with our drinks it came out to $24 . The place is clean and Wanda and Jack are amazing what a great business they run. This place is highly recommend.
The food is delicious and the staff is friendly! They always go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The chicken steak is the best we've ever had! We will definitely be returning to eat here again in the future!
Upon first entering the restaurant located at the base of the Rockies, between Dodge City and Pueblo, I immediately fell in love with the real furniture, paintings, photos, and delicious meat on offer. The personal touch at this place made me feel right at home.
I recently had the best chicken fried steak I've had in years at this restaurant. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
