Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

Not so great. Burger was fine. Onion rings were good. Dining room was dirty. Hot caramel was left on the counter and was a stringy, gooey clump.

I've eaten at this location before. Never had a complaint, but did question the quality of the food. I was surprised to see one here. I've patronized them back in illinois. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger in the photo. What I received, was a a double bacon pancake; with flat burnt edges. I peeled the burnt edges off. I could have made a whole patty, with the edges. Horrible quality!

Typically, this restaurant is fantastic, but today was a different story. The soda fountain was out of order, and even the lemonade and fruit punch were watered down. We waited about 15 minutes for our food, and I noticed that my hot dog was placed on the counter before the onion rings were even finished frying, so by the time I got it, it was cold. Additionally, there were significantly fewer fries than usual, as they simply dumped them into the open section of the hamburger container instead of providing a proper serving. The seasoning on the fries was also lacking. I'm very disappointed because this is one of our favorite places.

This Freddy's has a really unpleasant smell that I find quite overwhelming every time I go there. I'm not sure what the source is, but it needs to be addressed. It's unfortunate because the food is actually quite good, but the odor really detracts from the overall experience. They need to pay more attention to proper cleaning supplies and using fresh mop water.

Overall, the food is quite good and the desserts are excellent, but there's a significant problem with them frequently getting our dessert orders wrong. These aren't difficult orders; they're just the standard selections available. For instance, I ordered a concrete mixed with key lime pie, but I received vanilla instead, which completely missed the mark. On other occasions, I ordered brownies and didn’t receive any at all. So, when the order is accurate, the food is really enjoyable, but be ready for the possibility that you may not receive what you actually ordered if you're opting for delivery.
