We ordered the margarita flight and I can't choose which flavor I liked the most; they were all delicious. Last note, the vibe, lighting, and decor were all aces. Would absolutely come back again.
Y’all! I love this place and have frequented several times but this past Monday was my favorite. Mariah (sorry if it’s spelled incorrectly) was the sweetest while taking our order and serving us. Not sure if she was on her lunch or left for the day but we didn’t get to say bye.Food and drinks are sooooo delicious. Please go for the happy hour. Everything is always so colorful and vibrant. The decor makes you feel as if you’re visiting another city. Service was amazing. All our food arrived fairly promptly and it never felt like we were left alone by staff for too long. Had some food leftover and yummm, it was delish!!!
My favorite spot in LA/ Weho area for street tacos and margaritas! My favorite Are the KBBQ braised beef and the Brisket: favorite margarita or drink is The Mango Chamoy Slushy. I feel like I’m in Mexico authentic people and such a vibe.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. From start to finish, my visit was marred by a series of frustrating and unpleasant encounters. The initial hurdle was the locked bathroom door, which forced me to wait for an excruciating 30 minutes just to use the facilities. Once inside, I was greeted by an unexpected and uncomfortable surprise the bathroom felt as hot as a sauna. The lack of ventilation made the experience highly uncomfortable, leaving me feeling more eager to leave than relieved. To add insult to injury, the loud music blaring inside the bathroom was simply unbearable. The volume was cranked up to such a level that it actually hurt my ears. It is bewildering that the management would subject their customers to such an auditory assault, especially in a space intended for relaxation and privacy.Regrettably, the disappointments did not end with the bathroom ordeal. The food served was disappointingly cold, and despite our repeated requests for extra salsa, it was never brought to our table. The lack of attention to these basic requests reflects a disconcerting disregard for customer satisfaction.Furthermore, the presence of water leaking all over the ground persisted throughout our visit. Not only was it unsightly, but it also created a hazardous environment, with customers slipping and getting wet. It was disheartening to witness the staff's indifference to this situation, as if customer comfort and safety were of little concern.Lastly, the inattentiveness of the wait staff left a lasting negative impression. It was clear that they were not focused on providing quality service or addressing the needs of the customers. This lack of attentiveness further exacerbated the frustrations and contributed to an overall sense of disregard. In conclusion, my experience at Tu Madre was deeply disappointing. From the locked bathroom door and the uncomfortably hot environment to the deafeningly loud music that assaulted my ears, the experience was far from pleasant. The cold food and the repeated failure to fulfill our requests for extra salsa were further indications of the lack of attention to customer needs. The water leakage and the inattentive wait staff only added to the growing list of grievances. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience.
The restaurant offers excellent food and has a great atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The wait times for food are consistently long, especially for groups, and the orders often come out randomly and out of order. It 's frustrating when one person has to wait for about 10 minutes while everyone else has already received their food. Moreover, requesting simple items like a straw or an additional taco requires constant reminders, as the staff tends to forget. I have visited this place three times within a month due to invitations, and each time I receive the same excuse: Sorry, we 're a little busy and backed up today, blaming it on the pandemic. This constant excuse is embarrassing for me when I bring a group of friends here.
