Captain's Coffee Roasting Co - Homer

So I've been here twice now. FYI the bagged coffee you take home is AMAZING! The service was great! I've tried a panini, two muffins and smoothie too! The sandwhich was not good. I couldn't even eat it. It tasted weird, the muffins were good and the smoothies were okay. I am a big smoothie person. It is hard to find a real one. Most of the places around here use syrups for flavoring, and you can tell. Will come back for just coffee and muffins.

There is some great coffee to be had in Homer but not here. This coffeeshop appears to be a regular stop for local conservatives. The service was good, the offerings were fair but the lattes we had were regrettable. If you're not finicky about your caffeine and want a simple cup of Joe in a disposable, single use, paper cup, whether you're staying or going, then this is the place for you.

The food here is excellent! We tried the biscuits and gravy as well as the sausage, eggs, and biscuit. The gravy was outstanding—it's hard to find good gravy at restaurants these days. The biscuits were soft, fresh, and absolutely delightful, and the coffee was just right. This was exactly what I needed to kick off my weekend in the best way possible. If you're looking for quality food and friendly service, this is the place to go!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I stopped by for breakfast on a chilly winter morning and was warmly welcomed by the owner, who offered great service and explained the menu thoroughly. The food was outstanding—the panini breakfast sandwich was bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted, and the biscuits and gravy were among the best I've ever tasted. They were only surpassed by the incredible bacon and the absolutely delightful, freshly roasted coffee! We also enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and decor; be sure to take a look at the ceiling! We'll definitely be returning—most likely tomorrow!

I had the best BLT and French dip sandwiches I've ever tasted! My wife and I spent $40, which included large coffees and our meals, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. It has officially become our new favorite spot. P.S. We also took home some marmalade, fresh bread, and a great deal on hot cocoa!
