The Bagel Shop - Homer

I’m from NY, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this bagel shop in Homer AK. Great bagels made by a former NY’er. They are as good as they come, especially considering the location. Awesome options to dine in or take out. Live the roadside location but the outside could have used a bit of love for use on a rare sunny day. Bagels are awesome.

Love me some bagels and this little roadside shop has the best in Homer! I have been here twice during my visit last week! All the options are great. I even had the raw “lox” on my bagel with cream cheese, red onion and capers and it was the bomb. Run by very nice people as well ! VictorB

Large sign by the road and Google maps is accurate with the location makes this gem easy to find. Fresh coffee, bagels, and the warm food options embrace you with an warm hug of smells when you enter mouth watering. I had an egg and everything breakfast bagel with an Americano. Coffee black perfect ... even had the crema on top from the espresso : Bagel excellent ... and this is coming from a former Manhattanite. The service is top notch friendly, warm, cheerful perfect for an early morning breakfast and coffee run.

The food was great! Place was relatively crowded when we first showed up, but they got our order out fast. By the time we’d received our food, the interior was pretty empty and the tables outside were all occupied. We sat on a bench and made it about half-way through our food prior to being ushered out as it’s apparently “take-out only”. Don’t recall seeing any signs to that effect, and the benches definitely weren’t in need. But apparently policy is policy. We ate the rest in our car. A for the food C for the overall experience
