Chick-fil-a - Homewood

We (Husband and I) have been going to this location frequently since it opened. Service is VERY spotty. Usually drive thru. I would say at least 35% of the time our order is short, raw, or just plain wrong. We love the product, so we keep returning. Especially the soup when we are not feeling our best.MAJOR complaint for us: SOGGY FRIES!! First of all, if fries is in the name that insinuates that the product should be crisp. I may be alone in this, but I don 't want my waffle fries to wave in the wind if I try to eat one on the way home with the window down. One thing you DO NOT want to do unless you want attitude from the staff...... ask to have your fries well done. OMG the havoc you will cause with that request. Apparently it is corporate policy that you cannot get well done fries. At this point I would just like cooked! I am perplexed by this. God forbid I should ask for no salt. I 'd probably be banned!SO.....not having been for quite awhile, I asked for Chick Fil A last night and my husband went bonkers...loudly. We had pork chops. I digress. I was very curious about this policy so I called the corporate number and was told, very nicely, that yes, the corporate office decided that not only can you not get well done (cooked) fries, they accept NO special requests at all!!! None...zip...nada. Hope you don 't want extra butter on your buns.Now, Being that this company always puts forth the image that they are SO wonderful (just watch a commercial and see the praise they give themselves for being so helpful to people) and SO community spirited, how is it that they have NO appreciation of what the small things do for their customers. Extra butter, cooked fries, no ice. I am totally gob smacked at this lack of self awareness. If the CEO checked Reddit, he should be ashamed. Hundreds of complaints.Well, having been in the customer service industry for decades, this is my priority. If you treat me like I am no-account and you make it clear you just want my money and get out...I will. I will miss my chicken soup, but I will NOT be treated like my food and I don 't matter. They do! Get it together Chick fil a. There are too many choices out there that DO care.

Today September 6th at 12:00pm came in for my work lunch break. Absolutely obnoxious teenage girls. Trying to eat peacefully while they’re sitting laughing and giggling at their table talking about the clients eating and talking bad about them. Talking about they’re recording people and how they are going to upload videos on Facebook so the go viral. Working people should be able to enjoy their lunch meal without being mocked.Food service are great but need to keep an eye on unsupervised little girls cause if commotion slings their little mean girls talk.

First time at this location. The drive-through was packed, which is a good sign. I ordered frosty coffee and waffle fries. The coffee gave me an intensive stomach ache (that led me to think the coffee might have been old). The fries were undercooked and pale. Maybe they wanted to match the frosty coffee with snow white fries?

Crowded, but quick service and pretty through with your order both drive thru and walk-in. And open late 10pm,but not on Sundays.
