You will be rewarded with a beautiful room, attentive service and an extensive menu of vegan options, a rarity in Hong Kong. We had pulled the hand noodles and soy and fresh edamame main. The cocktails were also great. Pricy, but it's worth it!
Wow! This is the first call when I entered Old Bailey. This is a restaurant in the beautiful block called Tai Kwun, the center for culture and culture that was restored from the old police connection during the British colonization. In addition to a beautiful place in a beautiful environment, it is also a beautiful restaurant. The food is a fusion of various typical dishes from different regions in China. It's beautiful. I'm generally not a fan of Chinese cuisine, but here I have to admit that I had to change my mind. I was here for Brunch and I had a delicious meal. Brunch follows everything you can eat, but despite any other restaurant that uses this concept here, the food is DELICIOUS. Service is perfect. The staff is super careful and will always pay attention to your needs.
Beautiful environment, delicious food and good service. Packed lunches of $150 per person
The Alte Bailey is a restaurant in Shanghainese, located on the second floor of the JC Contemporary Museum in the Tai Kwun history in Central. The restaurant is open from 12pm to 3pm (Lunch) and from 18pm to 11pm (Dinner) on Tuesday to Sunday. They are closed on Mondays. You can make reservations directly on your website. Old Bailey offers a tasteful interior and terrace seat with beautiful views of the Central District skyscrapers. Table distance is good while we have found service to be attentive, friendly and timely during our last dinner. The menu consists of a beautiful selection of authentic Jiangnon dresses. During our meal we enjoyed the Dim Sum menu section, the Shanghainese spring roll, which is well-fried with beautiful filling. From the chief recommendation section we found the Osmanthus-centric Jinhua ham, served with crispy bean curd leaf in Mantou beech. This is a plate with delicately sophisticated ingredients that you build before eating. We liked this dish but preferred the Mala Iberico Pork Xiao Long Bao. These were nicely prepared pork dumplings, which kept the spicy soup and delicious pork filling just well. The taste was very good. It would have been easy to order a second round of her Mala Xiao Long Bao order. Our favorite dish in the evening was the Longjing Tea Smoked Pigeon. Wonderfully prepared and beautifully served, this was probably the best pigeon we had in recent years. It was beautifully roasted and strongly smoked with long-lasting tea leaves before it is served and thus natural tea flavor, the beautiful flavor balance to the natural wild aromas of the pigeon. Fried tea leaves are also served to add texture and pinch bitter to the excellent taste of smoked pigeon. This is a court that we are very happy to order again in the old Bailey. In the end we were very happy with our first meal in Old Bailey. Very pleased the quiet and beautiful surroundings, good service and impressive Jiangnon dishes offered. It was a well-rounded and overall impressive meal, one that we are happy to repeat in the near future.
HOT Beautiful environment w/ nice decor furniture, and fun lighting. Floor to ceiling wood panel screens knock down the afternoon light !erase the busy central Hing Kong buildings. Afternoon tea menu was good. We had a couple variations of Xiao Long Bao a very delicate Chiffon cake (recommended . NOT The service should be much better. This was my second time here you have to go out of your way to get an order taken, even though the seating is mostly empty, they are borderline rude. : Old Bailey could be quite fantastic if the service was any good. If you’re in the museum, it’s worth stopping for happy hour on the balcony, if you don’t mind putting up w/ the staff.
