The Malasadas are the best! Many flavors, apple, blueberry, lilikoi, pineapple. All right! They also sell many plates of lunch and large breakfast that will fill you. You make sure to visit on your great island holiday.
We stopped getting our first malasadas and they didn't disappoint. the price is great, the malasadas are fresh, and we were in and out in no time. the only regret is that they had no guava filling and the bathrooms were less than stellar, but the malasadas were delicious. we ordered 2 timesasadas each, but they can probably get away with 3 for 2 people because they are somehow big. I brought 1 back to the hotel the next morning and ate it. we have not got any other food, so this evaluation is strict for malasadas.
Delicious food everywhere. The prices are reasonable and the staff was super friendly. It was a rainy day when we arrived there, and it was after 4 so that we missed the gift shop. There are seats outside and a few tables inside. Restrooms are not the largest, but it is a public toilet that shares the restaurant with the other store in the building. But this is one of the places they take on the Malasadas. You make it fresh and made to choose with many flavors you can choose. There are many free parking spaces and is located directly on the main road.
We made a plan to stop here for breakfast on the way out to Waipi'o Valley. We ordered a banana cream and cherry malasada, which came out warm and fresh. I love a jelly filled donut and these were delicious! I got the breakfast burrito, which had eggs and Portuguese sausage (meat of your choice) and hashbrowns. Very yummy. My husband ordered the katsu musubi and the sweet bun egg sandwich with spam. It was so tasty, I almost stole it from him. But we're already planning to stop back when we drive to Hilo later in the week for more malasadas (we heard the Bavarian cream was their best seller after we ate ours).
