E.a.r.l. Kakaako - Honolulu

This restaurant is outstanding! I frequently work in town and sometimes find myself wandering around Kakaako just to visit this spot. I've sampled many of their sandwiches, and I've never been let down. Additionally, I run a local junk removal business, and my team enjoys stopping here for lunch. I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5

10/10. We've been searching for a great sandwich shop on the island for ages! I ordered the Earl's cheesesteak and my husband got the hot honey chicken sandwich, both with fries, and they were fantastic. Even after an hour's drive to the beach, the sandwiches remained fresh, and the chicken was still crispy! The fries were delicious, but the homemade ketchup was the best I've ever tasted! It's such a great spot! Plus, they’re the only place I’ve found my favorite childhood chips.

I had previously given this sandwich shop a glowing 5-star rating, but after my most recent visit, I was very disappointed with the food. They had always excelled in maintaining a good balance of flavors, especially between the bread and the filling. However, the crunchy, crusty French bread I loved is gone, replaced by a plain white roll. Additionally, my Italian sandwich was drenched in vinaigrette to the point where I could hardly taste the meat, leaving it soggy. Clearly, the balance has been lost. At these prices, I expected much better. I think I’ll go back to Subway instead.

We got the mushroom swiss burger. It was sooo delicious. The sauce inside was perfect. The bun was soft and light. They take cards and cash for payment.

2nd time at this place. The food was great but the prices are STEEP. This is a great place if you are visiting and wanting to try something new.But for families or for those on a tight budget, you can find cheaper items elsewhere.
