Came here on a lazy/breezy Saturday night with my husband several months back. It was raining all week and there was a break in the weather so we came out the house for a date night. FISH was not busy and we never tried it before so popped in. We were just looking for drinks and pupus so sat at the bar. Service was okay, they were friendly but kind of slow, and the seafood was fresh but it wasn 't anything special. We had the ceviche and chilled seafood. I guess I could give it a four star for freshness but for the price and what was given I wasn 't wowed . Meaning I could have made everything myself at home (which I 've had) and the food/service/atmosphere didn 't warrant the price, in my opinion. I do like the outdoor, al fresco, seating so I think I 'd come back and give this place another try and order something else on the menu.
Love this place! You can’t find better oysters anywhere. Amazing staff and happy hour prices! Quincy was especially amazing, as was Oscar and Jordan.
Friendly service. Located in the very popular and lively building complex.Good food and desserts. Small menu options.
Food here is pretty good and decor lives up to its name FISH! I came here for the first time upon the suggestion of my friend. It had been a while since I went to Salt Kakaako...so it was neat to see how much it's grown and the neat indoor/outdoor eatery and bar type places. Fish is no exception. It has an indoor/outdoor feel. Service was good with the employees (waiter/hostess) being helpful. We ordered quite a few items....(1) Lobster Roll with french fries which, I believe, was on special that night; or it could've been the Seafood Roll on the regular menu. I definitely know it was a Lobster Roll though. This was probably the best of all the dishes we tried. (2) The Calamari was pretty good but comparable to other places' calamari. (3) The Ahi Bruschetta was tasty. (4) The Coconut Milk Ceviche which was just okay. The fish that was in it didn't have much flavor. I probably enjoyed the taro and sweet potato chips that was served with it more. (5) The Caesar Salad was just meh. I think it was overpriced for a simple and mediocre Caesar Salad. I numbered them according to what I thought was best to least enjoyable. 2 and 3 pretty much tied for 2nd. Although the food didn't disappoint and the ambiance was nice and comfortable, I'm not sure I would come here again or that it would be a must return.
