Feedback gevenHerringbone makes the list of the top 10 meals I had in my life. I had numerous dinners in NYC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, all over Italy, France, Spain, Turkey and Switzerland, but this has them up. The atmosphere was great. Comfortable but beautiful and spacious. It only has the right amount of lighting that would work for a business dinner or a romantic night out. From the moment we went through the door, the entire staff was accommodated. They all had real smiles on their faces, so I feel like they enjoyed working on Herringbone. Amanda, our server, was breathtaking. She had the perfect mix of kindness, entertainment and information while giving us time to enjoy ourselves. Her and her team of server assistants, food students and bartenders were about our needs and well informed about the food she serves. The food that is most important to me was divine. The presentation of each plate was designed and the portion sizes were large. The whole lobster came to a very reasonable price of 35.00 and was cooked and seasoned for perfection. The tomato and burrata salad had tomatoes with good taste that are difficult to get in Hawaii! While the burrata melted into the mouth as it should. Nothing was salted. The cook has to buy high quality food and to do its natural taste to his job. We also had all the fish of the night that was an opakapaka (Pink Snapper) that was easily fried. It was also delicious and fed us both!
We came to this place by chance, as he looked very appealing from the outside and we were feeding on Yawacha while eating. Then we find out that there are the same owners and we are ready for another school experience! The food was simple, but exquisite with fish that was perfectly cooked. Most managers made our dinner very special as he composed a dish and really knew his stuff about food, which was a pleasure!! Great place and fantastic decoration cooking from London UK I am spoiler, but that was worth the money
We have booked in Herringbone as special treats (notes of my amazing mother! while on holiday in Waikiki, and we were not disappointed. We started with Better Mules Gardens and Wings. The mules were really nice, not too sweet and very refreshing. The wings were deliciously crispy and eaten so they were very easy to eat. With inlaid veg, crushed peanuts and peanut sauce it was the perfect start to the evening and generous enough to share. Next came the Sailboat plate and a few glasses of Justin Sauv Blanc, which made the seafood very complicated. Most seafood platters back home shake it with hot fried foods like chips, fish edk, but this was two layers of delicious fresh, cold seafood with 6 sauces and vinaiigretten. Everything was great, and that was our first time King Crab was eating! I've never had such massive, fleshy, cramped legs and claws. What is better to finish the evening that should be surprised with a free chocolate cake say Love Mum after sending them a nice message on FB.
Amazing little dishes! Pricy but every dish bursts with great flavors! Worth the money! Must try the fish tacos and oysters happy hour every day for $2 oysters of 4-6pm
I loved this place for girls night. We came on a Saturday early around 4 for happy hour which was great then stayed for dinner which started at 5. The death by potatoes was my favorite so good definitely a portion size for two though. Let be music was amazing and great service.
