Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort And

The location is fantastic and they are quite too foot to everything. the rooms are decent and the view is great. a fresh colour lacquer could really sprinkle the room. later check-out was not available and her shower room did not reopen because of covid, if they have a late night flight, this is a discount. my only real complain, the whole trip is over parking. please know that parking is $50 per night and it may or may not park a place for them. the last night of our stay the garage was completely full because of an event. no warning or something earlier on the day that we have to park as a paying hospitable somewhere. when we came to the garage to park, we were handed over a map and told to park elsewhere. we drove a quarter mile into the new parking garage, which was also completely full and had to circle around for about 15 minutes to find a place. with the time we parked and back to the hotel came our dinner we had ordered before the parking fiasco was cold and soggy. If we had known that parking would be a problem last night, we would have stopped ordering dinner until we came to the hotel. I understand that this is a small inconvenience, but communication earlier on the day would have made this really a better experience. a mass text or call to all who have parking fees on their room seems to do like a simple thing.

The hotel was right in the middle of everything so it was very convenient. Unfortunately that also meant lots of road noise at all hours of the day and night. Look around town for food quality and prices are better elsewhere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping took good care of us.

Great family trip staff super friendly and helpful beautiful setting the hotel provided nightly entertainment as well as a wonderful farmers market sharing local fare we are already talking about our next trip back

We stayed here over the last weekend of July and expected better amenities in the room when paying $500+ per night not including $60 daily resort fee or $60 daily valet parking fee (self parking is $50). The ocean view room was large but inadequately furnished with mostly older looking furniture. Coffee station was comprised of old school coffee machine and not even a complete creamer/sugar set for 2 people. There was nothing to mix the sugar/creamer in the coffee with. Retrieving our car from valet was a nightmare as it took on average 20-30 mins each day. Location is great. Service was average. In Room amenities were below par for a $500+ night hotel

On negative is from the Ewa tower there is quite a bit of street noise even on the 12th floor, otherwise great facility, good dining options close to the beach, pool is a bit small but the beach is only steps away
