You choose your pasta, choose your sauce (or even mix sauces), choose your toppings.Or if that 's too damn complicated for you, they have some pre-selected options. You can also pick up a salad, and walk over to the bakery right next to it and grab some of Honolulu 's best focaccia. There are tables to eat in or outside. I 've even brought a bottle of wine and some glasses. The food is much better than most of the Italian restaurants around and the prices are reasonable. You can 't go wrong here unless you want a full service dining experience.
The service here is bad the workers don't seem like they want to be there at all. I waited 5 minutes to do my order because the girl was counting her drawer then finally another worker took my order. There was only a few customers in the store. One of my pet peeves are workers who don't greet customers. It was my first time in there and given how to order seems kind of intimidating I would have appreciated the workers explaining what the establishment was. They're a bakery, a noodle place, and a bento box place I think?I bought the shoyu noodles with bacon and I added chicken. It was a small portion for $15. I ordered 3 pastries and without realizing it until I got home the girl gave me the wrong pastry. I spent $30 here, but it wasn't worth my time or money because the service was bad and the food was okay.I don't recommend this place at all.
I've had a few pastas here now. Preset and build my own. They've all been great in a Japanese/Italian fusion of taste. Today as I was leaving the cashier offered me a focaccia bread. Wow!!! They should give every customer one. It is one of the best focaccia I've ever had and would just go there to buy more to dip in balsamic and olive oil. I'm developing a taste for natto and tried their natto carbonara yummmm!!!
Here's the thing if you like tasty pasta and you want convenience, check this place out. There's not many places in town that offers this level of pasta that you can just take to go with so many different options. However, do keep in mind that the ambiance is that of a take out place, and not that of a typical pasta restaurant. You can either order ahead of time or just walk up to the deli style like counter. The people there are quite efficient and able to produce the hot dishes quickly. The sauces we had tried so far were all outstanding, and considering the price an excellent deal.
Japanese-Italian pasta, quick and casual, good for takeout. There is some seating indoors. Outdoor seating is on the sidewalk facing the parking lot and gets full sun by 12 noon. Order off the wafu Japanese style fusion cuisine) menu for the most flavorful dishes. If you love natto, try the natto carbonara and if you don 't like natto, or don 't know what natto is, skip it). Check out the adjoining bakery for Japanese-French pastries and breads!
