Penny's Waikiki- Malasadas - Honolulu

The shop is situated in the food court of the Royal Hawaiian Center, which means the dining experience is shared with various other eateries, so the ambiance is not particularly standout. However, the service was outstanding. The cashier was knowledgeable and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. While the malasadas were reasonably priced, they were not exactly inexpensive. Overall, it was a great experience!

This place is amazing! We absolutely love visiting here during our vacation. Penny's serves the best malasadas in Hawaii, no question about it. They greet us with genuine aloha spirit! Make sure to stop by Penny's—it's a must! Thank you, Penny's family!

Absolutely fantastic! I've only tried Leonard's before, and Penny's has its own superb malasada. It's incredibly fluffy and soft!

First time trying these malasadas and they did not disappoint. We ordered 2 ube filled, 2 coconut and 2 custard filled ones and they were served warm and gooey. The flavors of the fillings accentuate the soft doughy sugar buns. They also have other flavors such as nutella, strawberry and cherry filled ones. The server was really nice. They're cute stall is located in the food court of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

Delicious! It's especially tasty when freshly made. I preferred it without the cream! You can only purchase three pieces at a time.
