Pioneer Saloon - Honolulu

Such a cool little place to eat with a ton of menu options. After some time walking through the zoo, we came here and got some great food! Service is good and prices are fair. Only failure is parking can be a challenge here, and despite what Google cards say, they are only currently, with very limited outdoor seating. But it's worth it. Get some food, go to the park and enjoy in a shade!

Excellent food and atmosphere! I got the garlic Ahi Steak and it was Top Notch. Extra bonus was there all the time I had to go there some deep cuts from a whole Led Zeppelin mix.... we all know is 'god's gift to rock and roll '

I always liked to go to Hawaii, but there were many good restaurants on the way to Diamond Head, so it was good to have a simple meal. It is a great place to experience simple Hawaiian dishes in style.

I asked a Lyft driver for recommendations for food in Waikiki and was directed to the Pioneer Saloon. Oh, my God. It was the best meal I had without alcohol since I was in town. Now that I think about it, it was probably better than the dinner I had with alcohol, but the memory is a little fuzzy. Pioneer Saloon has no dinner in options right now. All of us were amazed (not TikTok amazed where everything is 11/10), but actually amazed with the quality of food for the price. Teriyaki Chicken Plate $11 Ribeye Steak Bowl $16 The ribeye were boiled a perfect medium rarely and then cut into bite sizes and laid over rice, with a salad and potato salad. The guy who returned the counter was cold and not icey. A can Pepsi was just $1 in there land $5 soda and $10 alcohol

After stopping in for a late lunch, I now want to try one of everything on the menu! This mochiko chicken plate did not disappoint, and the garlic ahi (not pictured) was out of this world. Prices are very fair and the shop has fun vintage items you can shop.
