Robata Jinya Honolulu

The food was great but the service was extremely slow. It’s unfortunate that such a nice restaurant with good food does not offer good service. We tried to order a drink and two beers, we were told that all three they were sold out of.

Server was very helpful in explaining menu. Sushi was delicious. Grilled items were okay. The Japanese Old fashioned and other whiskey drink was subpar watered down.

Wonderful experience! Sat at the sushi counter, ordered the omakase, the food, presentation, and service was impeccable. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, compliments to the sushi chef, Hide-san! Much aloha!

Robata Jinya is our new favorite place for great Japanese food, service and ambience the trifecta! My husband and I hosted a group of 6 for a friend's birthday and everyone RAVED!!! We ordered family style and shared edamame, ceviche, a sashimi platter, nigiri platter, soft shell crav tempura roll, hot stone wagyu garlic rice, agedashi tofu, eggplant with miso, crispy rice spicy tuna nigiri, shrimp tempura, lobster tempura and lots of sake! My husband loves the Sohomare Kimoto Junmai. Kampai! Highly recommend Robata Jinya! And we love their Jinya Ramen Bar and LBD Japanese Bar, too!

Amazing sushi. I eat at finest sushi restaurants all over the world. This may be the best one of them all!
