Grace Su's China Gorge - HOOD RIVER

This restaurant is exceptionally clean and is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is delicious; you should try it to see for yourself! It is better than most food in the Chinatown area.

Super clean and solid taste. but “interesting” choice to make in court: zzitrone huhn is just a massive plate of fried chicken with a few pieces broccoli swimming in sauce, and yet the douban pork was a plate of vegetables with just a little chopped / chopped pigs scattered.

The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the interior of the restaurant was very beautiful. The pandas on the front were adorable. The best dish was the hot and sour soup, my husband really enjoyed the egg rolls, and the portion sizes were perfect. The prices were reasonable as well. Thank you!

Ate here after going snowboarding at Mt Hood Meadows, food was extra delicious and portions are manly.

Driving through the Gorge on a Friday night, we were deciding where to get dinner, and we were worried about a long wait time and hoped we’d get a good meal, and still stay on track for our trip. We’ve driven this road many times and have tried many places. We’ve stopped at China Gorge a few times and have never been disappointed. We pulled in, we were seated quickly, and our waitress was attentive and very nice. Even though the restaurant was buzzing, we felt like we were important and never felt like they were too busy for us. We ordered the egg flower soup for starters, and decided on a few dishes. We selected: pineapple chicken, General Tso’s chicken, Almond Fried chicken, fried rice and the house special noodles. Everything was EXCELLENT! Food came out very quickly, the food was flavorful, and filling, and we were stuffed. The server was checking in often and taking care of our needs. Very happy we stopped here again. This place is worth the stop. The atmosphere is great, the food never disappoints, and the service is excellent. 5 STARS from our family. We will be back again, even if we are out of towners.
