Burger Stand - Hoodsport

I had been seeing this place for years, but never stopped in. I figured it must be good if its been here this long, so we stopped on our way home from camping and the special burger was so so good! and the fries tasted fresh and crunchy, with homemade ranch. We shared a strawberry cheesecake shake that was so nice after a weekend in the woods.

Been here twice. The first time they were out of bulgogi, but the young man offered a great burger combination and it was delicious. Fries were ok.Came back a second time and they were understaffed and I had to use a machine to order, which I'm not very keen on since I'm looking for human interaction, but it's ok.Bulgogi is very, very good. Get it.

I am a weary traveler! My luck came to an end yesterday while I was resting from a job that takes me 500 miles from town to town. I had pulled over to take a nap and when I woke the car I rent had run out of fuel. I was 3 miles outside of town. So I walked that 3 miles into Shelton. As soon as I got onto the main road I could smell the delicious aroma of flaming burgers coming from the “BURGER STAND!” At this point my financial situation was bleak as my Boss had not paid me. I spent 4 hours waiting on him and then another 2 waiting for CASHAPP to come back online. About an hour before they did the cook/manager of the “BURGER STAND” noticed me and began a conversation. In the end he offered me a Hamburger free of charge! His only request was that I pay it forward. No Problem! I said. It’s that small act of kindness that encourages me to keep on Paying it Forward as I always have. It helps me to continue in this world knowing there are others doing the same!Stop in to the BURGER STAND and visit my new acquaintance help his business continue to thrive because of his amazing generosity and Excellent BURGERS! Thank You BURGER STAND!I’ll be moving on however will definitely return and In greater numbers than I came with today! And we will add the last of the star!! CHEERS!!James G. Cyphers

5 stars all around, the service was fantastic, the food was amazing! I got the Teriyaki chicken and it comes with a good portion and is so delicious. The customer service was great and they’re very welcoming! I will definitely come back here again!

We have been here a few times, burgers have always been good. The last time the fries were soggy and onion rings were burnt. I'm hoping it's just because they were super busy. We will go back again to give it another try.
