Big Kahunas Smokehouse - HOOKSETT

We went to have a dinner before we visited the movie: top gun maverick. we talked to the owner jay about it. he had seen it and told us it was amazing and brought us all to it. we all talked for quite ahile, come to find out that he is also a veteran in the military. so had a great conversation. super nice guy. service was amazing and eating was exceptional. some of the best bbq around! if you have a chance, check this place. delicious eating, great mood!

I visited this restaurant for the first and last time. The server was friendly and explained the menu, which was great. We ordered the brisket with a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. When our food arrived, we were served a plate with just the fat cap of the brisket. I asked the server if this was a mistake, and she seemed unsure, taking the plate back to the kitchen. She returned and confirmed that we had only been given the fat cap. The portion was small and unappetizing. We left the restaurant feeling disgusted, hungry, and angry. I believe this place is poorly managed and should close down sooner rather than later. In addition, the ribs were sold out even though the restaurant was empty. I recommend trying Smokeshow in Concord for great BBQ food. Applebee's would be a better option for a more satisfying meal at a lower price.

This is the best dining experience I have ever had! The food, the owner, and the staff were all amazing. I am thrilled to have discovered a locally owned and operated restaurant. This place is a hidden gem!

The dining experience was fantastic and J provided excellent guidance as we were first-time visitors at the restaurant. He walked us through the menu and suggested some amazing dishes. We will certainly be returning!

Don't order the Mac and Cheese you can by at Market Basket a pack of 5 for 6 bucks and they are stingy with what they give u. 10 bucks for a kids serving of Mac and cheese. Looks like they buy the cornbread for the MB as well. Not worth the value. For what they give u. Burger are pretty tasty I'll give them that
