Tammy's Candy Kettle - Hoosick

Absolutely incredible burgers and fries! If you're on the fence about stopping by, just go for it. The restaurant is housed in a really cool old building that I must have passed a hundred times, often wondering what char-grilled burgers had to do with a place called the Candy Kettle. Turns out, it's quite fitting! The menu is extensive, filled with an array of options, and the decor features neat old knickknacks everywhere. The owner clearly takes great pride in the establishment. All social distancing measures are in place, and I enjoyed a lovely little alcove to myself. The 1/2 lb burger was fantastic, and the freshly cut fries were exceptional. This is the kind of friendly neighborhood spot that makes me feel guilty for supporting chain restaurants. I can’t wait to come back!

Tammy and Charlie are incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our food was cooked to perfection, and you have the best candy we've ever had. If you haven't visited yet, you should definitely make this a priority! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

The food quality, selection, and value are outstanding. I enjoyed the Cajun Burger, and everything my group of ten ordered looked amazing. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. It's the perfect stop after a long journey.

My group and I went skiing and randomly at this place for lunch. The best burgers ever. I heard that from the others, but I got the shrimp basket. The seafood here is really delicious. The ambience and hospitality of the couple that it operates just made the experience great. Please leave here if you're in the area!

This was the friendliest little place with old time charm. If nothing else, you've GOT to try her corn nuggets, with the melba sauce! Yum!!
