Brock's At Ross Bridge - Hoover

Very poor service, food price to quality and quantity poor. Made to feel like we were not welcomed and they we really not very busy. Reservation was at 8:30 and didn’t get main course till 10

Was a little hesitant after some reviews but we were so glad we went ahead and made plans to have dinner at Brock 's. Not really fine dining Others were dressed very casual which is fine with me. Great service, food was great. Wine selection nice. Will go back every time we are at Ross Bridge.

The service was poor at both breakfast and dinner. The dinner menu that was given to us had items on it that were not available. The wine menu was missing the cocktail menu. One person at our table had items on her menu that were not on the rest. It was not a very good experience.

My party and I were very disappointed in the service we received. We didn’t receive our food for about two hours after being seated. Our drink orders were taken shortly after being seated. Our food orders were not taken for over 45 minutes after receiving our drinks. I went and found the waitress and I was told she would be over to take our orders in about 2 seconds and she didn’t show up to take our party of 14 orders for another 15 minutes. My daughter ordered the mussels which tasted spoil and was brought to the waitress attention. Due to the food taking so long to receive the first time she didn’t order anything else and basically ended up not having dinner. I requested to speak with the manager after finally receiving our food. She said she would remove the cost of a 39.00 bottle of wine and had three deserts sent to the table to be shared by a party of 14. My bill alone was almost 600.00 along with around another 160.00 spent by my guest. I really felt more should have been done to make up for the poor service my guest and I received.

Took too long to get server but once we did he was good. Because we came in at 9:30pm it seemed like the rush has just left and everyone had shut down
