The Log Cabin Restaurant

There was no sign to indicate where to wait to be seated by a server, resulting in confusion about which tables had arrived first. With only two servers who were unable to keep up with the number of tables, we waited for over an hour for one of our dishes to arrive, without even receiving a drink in the meantime. Eventually, my wife's plate came 30 minutes later, followed by mine 20 minutes after that, and we had to ask for our drinks. Three out of the four plates arrived two hours in, and we received the bill before the final plate. At this point, I advised new customers to leave, as one of the waiters did. When we went to pay, I mentioned that the fourth dish had not been brought out, but was told it would come, so we decided to take it to go. To our dismay, it was an $11 plastic container with a small portion of old, dried-out food. Feeling foolish and disappointed, we left $80 poorer and with frustration mounting during the car ride home. There was no indication of any management or direction, making the experience even more disappointing given the high cost and substantial time wasted. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. It was not busy, but they only had one server who seemed unclean. The food tasted like it was prepared from frozen ingredients. I would not recommend this place.

We decided to try this restaurant because it was conveniently located near where we were staying. Unfortunately, our overall dining experience was quite disappointing. The lobster was decent, though it was smaller than we had anticipated, and the accompanying potatoes had a tough skin and were not cooked properly. The halibut we ordered was fresh, but it came with pre-packaged salad dressings. The fish and chips were subpar – the batter lacked flavor and was not fluffy. The side of rice was bland. It seemed like many of the dishes were prepared from frozen. There was only one waitress working, Andrea, who did her best to attend to all tables but understandably couldn't serve everyone as quickly as expected. It would have been helpful to have at least one more waitress and a busboy on staff. Many of the tables were dirty when we arrived and remained that way throughout our meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.

That was terrible. I ordered ceaser salat. the salat was so covered with dressing it was unusable. there was no speck and no parmesan. my man ordered the seafood plate with garnel and scallops. they were deep fried and like pucks when they came. but somehow the accompanying were underoccupied. the waitress gave our food and disappeared so at the end we had to find them for the bill and go. drive 30 km to the nearest city. that is not worth trying.

The food was terrible, the service wasn't great the waitress tried to give herself a tip on our card hoping we wouldn't notice. Never again will we come back, will drive the 45 minutes to eat somewhere else.
