The top restaurant at the top of the Hohe Salve can be reached via the tele cabins all the way from the desired and hopfa garden base stations (good for skiers). The Restuarant has a table service and self-service sections. There is a terrace that can be popular on a sunny day. Also a rotating platform with some tables outside (is needed for a while to complete a complete rotation). There are many tables for self-service, but expect it to be busy at peak times. It's a very convenient location because we were in Soll. It is possible to drive back to the village via Black 42, or you can simply use the High Salve Lift for descent. Eating, there are many possibilities. We have tried Goulash soup, tyranny, apple strudel, currywurst, beef goulash with polnta and veil carving. All very well made, good size and excellent value (probably favorable in the area). Even a hot chiololate is 60 cents cheaper. Service is excellent and friendly. When it comes to the view, just enjoy it.

Go to the top of this mountain, enjoy the restaurant, and take the view, absolutely brilliant. Love this place!

The cable car up and, after a walk, had a drink.... on a revolving platform. Great idea as it managed to give everyone a look at the incredible views.

We had a much-needed beer here on a really hot day and sat on the 360º revolving terrace, taking in the beautiful views all around. Very good prices. Self-service inside.

Having walked up the Hohe Salve from Soll we were greeted by a busy restaurant with views to die for. We chose to eat inside, which was equally delightful at the tables with the glass windows and panoramic views. The food has traditional Tyrolean dishes which after a long climb was most welcome. It is a kind of self service experience but we did notice they also had an area for full service. We loved this restaurant for its location and food and will definitely visit it again when we return to walk this mountain. You can get a gondola car all the up and down if you prefer.
