Thought what the heck, will take the last scone, 2 cookies and a hot chai....$21 dollars. Small town, I get it plus now a days, whats affordable anymore. Unfortunately chai was luke warm, cookies weren 't baked through, scone was mediocre. Probably won 't be back a 3rd time unfortunately.
This place is beautiful . The staff is very friendly and helpful . The breakfast burrito was the best . The atmosphere is unbelievable . If you're ever going through hopland you have to stop.Vegetarian options: I had no clue it was vegan till my wife told me after I finished the burrito. I would never have known.
Six dollars for black coffee is pretty steep, but I get it. Inflation... blah blah. If you are going to charge six dollars for a coffee though, it ought to be at least a decent cup of joe. Right? My coffee may well have just been dirty hot water. Were they out of beans that day??The lady behind the counter had a nice smile and good energy. Very cool rocks and whatnot inside of the cafe as well.
We have been wanting to try this place for a while after reading excellent reviews for the breakfast. When our first item arrived, our anticipation seemed justified. The guava cream cheesy pastry was delicious, light and tasty. The coffee was also pretty good. The orange juice was the first indication that all was not well. It tasted like watered-down concentrate. The waffle was squishy. I tried to order one of the breakfast biscuits, but was told that despite it being after 10am they hadn’t made the biscuits yet. I’m not sure when they are expecting people to eat breakfast, but that struck me as a little late. I opted for the prosciutto and fig panini. At $18, I had expected more than the flat, meagerly filled sandwich I got. The mixed greens that accompanied were fresh and tasty, but overall it was overpriced and disappointing. Should have stopped at the pastry and coffee. One star for friendly service. One for the ambience. Just one for the food.
Wow. The aesthetics in this cute place was perfection. The girl at the counter was so chill and had a great calming vibe about her and the music playing made me feel like I was in a completely different place. This is by far the cutest cafe I’ve visited in years and I travel a lot. The coffees were delicious and the choice in milk alternatives were good. We bought the biscuits and savory scones and I could smell it all the way up the stairs in my hotel room. This whole place is a gem! If you are in town it’s a must!
