Fuddruckers - Horry

They closed down our Fuddruckers in NC, so when we seen this one at bike week. Of course we stopped ..and its the same as always.. never disappoints

Love this place. The cheese sauce is so good and being able to put the fixings on yourself is really nice. Great deserts too.

Fuddruckers is a counter serve hamburger chain, but don't let that put you off! Their hamburgers are made to order on fresh bakery buns and their sides, like french fries and onion rings are very tasty. I have never had a bad experience with their staff, which is saying something! But the best part...they have a condiment bar to top your hamburger your way which includes beyond your typical ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato...wait for it...cheese sauce! Yes, tubs of hot cheese sauce for you to use as much as you want on your burger or sides- it's a beautiful thing! Is it healthy? No. That is not the point of cheese sauce! Just enjoy!

Service was quick and helped with explaining options. Tableside service was friendly and attentive

A very disappointing visit. The restaurant itself was a mess, papers all over the floor. Spilled water or drinks on the aisles to walk on. The men's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. According to my wife, the women's bathroom wasn't nice either but it wasn't super disgusting. Well isn't that faint praise. The seasoned fries were good, the beer was cold, but the hamburger itself was blah. Cooked like we asked, but tasteless. Not going to return.
