Grandma's Depot - Horton

It's good but be prepared to wait. It took almost an hour for me to get me food

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Grandma's Depot Cafe. I ordered a sausage and brie omelet, while my friend had biscuits and gravy. The homemade food was fantastic, and the staff was friendly. There is also a charming gift shop to browse while waiting for your meal.

My brother and sister-in-law recently relocated from Maui, and I drove from Omaha to pick them up at the Kansas City airport. After three long days of chaotic travel, we were exhausted and hungry. On our way to Omaha, we stumbled upon a charming cafe in Horton. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. They even allowed us to bring our dog onto the deck and played with her. We also purchased two beautiful and reasonably priced necklaces from the gift shop. Thank you for making us feel welcomed in your lovely town and for serving us a delicious and affordable meal.

The pork chop and carrot cake were both delicious and came as part of the meal. However, the fries were too greasy and lacking in salt. Despite this, I would happily return to Grandma's as the staff were incredibly friendly.
