We went to the afternoon. the place is absolutely beautiful. from the outside, which invites into the beautiful interior. they use correct porcelain, have flowers on tables and even the personal carry vintage style uniforms. the staff is friendly and eating is delicious and fresh. they have an excellent selection of aromatized tees and coffee. you can take away cake. There are also gifts that they can buy, including candles and oil burners. it is also in a historic building that once lived by a designer of the Tibetan, well visited.

Beautiful decoration and pleasant atmosphere. had the traditional pleasure in the afternoon tee, it was great. dissolve tee leaves served in a massive teepot together with China tea cup, we also had a refill. good selection of fresh sandwiches, scones and other tasty ones, I decided for the carrot cake from the cake selection and brought him home as I was too full. excellent service. a very pleasant afternoon. We had a family dinner here. there is an excellent selection of afternoon, cake and many other menu items. we had a nice time. the food was served immediately, by friendly helpful staff. they were happy to tweaken some of the sandwich selections to provide people with a simple galaxy. everything was beautiful and fresh. it was a very relaxed atmosphere. we could sit and squirt even after we cleaned our tellers. there was no hurry to rush us out of the door. poppins was pretty busy as it was a Thursday. many others came and went. such a great atmosphere. would recommend it. I suprised my wife with afternoon tea at Poppins tea room on Saturday. I booked in advance to avoid disappointment! Inside and outside the venue was very impressive with Victorian style decor and the Mary Poppins theme throughout. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely! We had a great time and will definitely be returning in the future!

Our visit was a Christmas gift from my children, we booked a Saturday at 12 and the restaurant was warm, welcoming and not over full. Poppins is utterly charming along with the staff. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and lots of it. We requested the chutneys on the side as the three of us had different tastes, they changed the hot drink to cold for one of us, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend.
