El Padrino - Hot Springs Village

El Padrino is a must when visiting the Hot Springs area. Upon arriving, we were seated right away. Our server was prompt, kind and catering. He overall did a great job in taking care of us. There are a lot of options on the menu which makes making one decision a bit difficult (only because everything I've had here has been nothing short of amazing). This time I ordered the Pollo Mexicano (pictured) and everything came hot and seasoned very well. El Padrino is a casual, but perfect place to enjoy good food with family/friends. They've been in business for a while and you can clearly tell why.

I have gone there for years but went a week ago it was bad had a taco. salad bowl the hamburger was full of grease. Went to the bottom of my taco bowl. and so was my husband hamburger beef taco. it made us both sick. won't go back heard it was under new management.

The food is consistently good, although the ground beef can occasionally be a bit greasy. I absolutely love the shrimp tacos—they're worth it every single time. The sampler platter is always a crowd-pleaser as well, and you can request extra hot sauce. It's great that they have a drive-thru, and they manage to get orders out quickly. Overall, I really enjoy it!

The person managing the cash register also prepared my food, which was disappointing. While the drinks are usually good, this time they had an off taste from the ice. I won't be coming back; I can't afford to waste my money.

I came here from out of town and LOVED the food and service but when it came time to check out, the guy checking me out is skimming so BEWARE! My ticket was $38.25 and he took the change and only gave me back a dollar. NOT ok dude!
