The Shack - Houma

There are plenty of options to choose from on the menu, especially if you're a seafood lover. The shrimp were huge and the oysters were fresh. The prices are reasonable and the staff is quick and efficient. They also offer steaks, salads, gumbo, etc. The atmosphere is lovely with tasteful decorations on the walls and ceilings, although it's not overly fancy. Everything was very clean and the food was cooked perfectly. The seasonings were available to add separately if needed. The dishes are expertly prepared with just the right amount of seasoning. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be returning in the future.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! I requested that my dish not be overcooked and it was big, tasty, and perfect. The crawfish and dungeness crab were both awesome. Our server, Hayley, did a great job and was attentive without being overbearing. The appetizer with the fried shrimp, crabs, and crustaceans was so good that it could easily be a full meal. I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is perfect for families, couples, and solo diners. It's the best! The seafood never disappoints.

The shack was great! it was my first time here. I enjoyed my lunch. I'll come back.

I stopped by here Saturday evening from an out of state trip. I ordered the half oyster and half shrimp po-boy with fries. This was so fresh and delicious. I look forward to my next trip to Houma. Also, the staff are very polite and friendly.
