My group has had a wonderful time this afternoon evening. We were initially thrilled with the welcome and assistance from a young lady called Diana, she set the tone for a fun evening. Josh followed suit by pouring us some fantastic beers with a dash of charming personality. The manager on shift is clearly doing a good job. Clean and efficiently running. Hats off to the London Apprentice, thank you for an enjoyable experience.
A must visit pub if you are in Isleworth specially during the summer. The pub is situated right on the Thames lock and have brilliant views from their beer garden. During the winters its quiet warm and cosy. Have a good spread of fresh beers. The place can become really busy during the weekends and Friday evenings, so plan accordingly.
I have visited this restaurant before for drinks and dinner, and had a great experience. However, my recent visit for Sunday roast left me extremely disappointed. The meal lacked greens, the chicken was dry, the cauliflower cheese was missing the cheese, the gravy was watery, and to add to it, the extras I ordered on the app were unavailable halfway through the meal. The wait for the food was nearly an hour, which added to my disappointment. It's a shame because the pub is in a beautiful location, has a good selection of beers, and the other food I have tried has been great. My tip for anyone planning to visit - avoid ordering on the app and stay away from the Sunday roast.
From Tuesday to Thursday 4-7pm this pub has a 2 for 1 offer on some of its drinks. We happened to be strolling by at this time and popped in for a couple of Flint Eyes.
