I had a nice time at The Northumberland Arms, where I enjoyed one of their delicious craft beers and interacted with the friendly bar staff. However, I was disappointed to find out that there was no food available, and it didn't seem like it would be available later in the day either.
The burgers at this pub were delicious and the beer was excellent. I was very satisfied with the fantastic food while supporting a local establishment.
I wrote a review based on a visit in February, but sadly we went again a couple of months later and were very disappointed. It is still the cheapest roast in town, but the quality was lacking. It was very average indeed. Tasteless and bland. Wouldn't return based on our most recent visit. The football on the TV is also annoying.
Its had a refurbishment within the past year so its added some claim to the place but the character is still there, food is good, Tv shows sports and some days you have live local music. Worth a visit if your in the area.
